This community-focused concept dates back to the 1930s, and it was named for the mayor at the time. The park grew notably throughout its first few decades of existence, and it has delighted visitors ever since.
While it features a landscape that's lovely and ever-changing, it's a bit different than your typical community park...
At 22 acres, this park isn't exactly huge. What it is, however, is family-friendly to the core. It features a splash pad, skate park, a playground, tennis courts, and more.
