Kentucky is known for horse racing and bourbon, but there is truly more to it than what meets the eye. The Bluegrass has many picture-perfect lakes, but one that sticks out is Green River Lake. There, you will find paradise on the beach – and maybe even get a tan!

There are 28 miles of all-purpose trails. You are able to hike, bike, or even horseback ride!
You will love this little slice of paradise so much, you won't want to leave! That's okay, though - there are plenty of campsites.

Wake up the next day for another beautiful day on the lake. Camping does close in mid-December, but reopens in mid-March each year.

The park grounds are open all year, but swimming is a seasonal activity. No worries, though – there is still plenty to do on Green River Lake in the cooler months, thanks to the many trails!
