The rocky coast, blue skies, and green forest all combine to make up the quintessential Maine views. Those of you who have explored Acadia National Park will be real familiar with the sound of crashing waves and the same greenery found within the park. It might not be on Mount Desert Island but this is actually part of the national park as well, and tends to be far less busy than the main attractions found off of the Park Loop Road.

Camping here is an experience that combines the beauty of Maine with close proximity to all the activities that are offered by both Acadia and other nearby natural areas. This is also one of the newer campgrounds in the park, which makes everything feel squeaky clean, especially in such a historic park where everything dates way back to the early 1900s and has been used ever since.
