Less than 1.5 miles round-trip, it’s an easy hike – but don’t let that fool you. The trail leads through a rugged, rocky landscape to a breathtaking waterfall, and you’ll be in awe at first sight.
Just an hour northwest of Austin, Inks Lake State Park is a true Hill Country gem.
Nestled on the Colorado River, the park features striking rock formations, nine miles of hiking trails, and crystal-clear water ideal for swimming, boating, water skiing, scuba diving, and fishing.
Among the park's most popular trails is Inks Lake State Park Loop, a 1.2-mile hike that parallels the beautiful Spring Creek.
