Have you ever been watching a movie and spotted a place you recognize? If you’re from the Sunshine State, chances are you have. Beautiful Florida is perfect for filming, and in fact it was just barely edged out by California as the home of Hollywood. They probably look a bit different now, but see if you can recognize any of these places in Florida from the movies they starred in.
Micanopy (near Gainesville) was transformed into the fictional town of Grady, South Carolina, for the 1991 film Doc Holiday, starring Michael J. Fox.
The number of annual visitors to this aquarium has tripled since Winter, seen here, starred in the popular Dolphin Tale movies. She was fitted with a prosthetic tail after being caught in a crab trap and brought to the aquarium for rehabilitation.
