Natural beauty abounds here in Arizona, and Adventure Journal has recognized that in one of their most recent articles. According to the magazine, the Grand Canyon State is home to three of the most beautiful day hikes in America. Can you guess which trails made the cut?

One of the most photographed places on Earth, Antelope Canyon is nestled up near the Arizona-Utah border. Guided tours are required to visit the world-famous natural wonder, but they're relatively cheap (around $50-$75 per person) and take place on a daily basis.
You'll actually be off your feet for a good bit of the tour, as it takes about 30 minutes to drive from the Visitor Center to the canyon.

Don't worry, though - none of the driving is your responsibility. A tour guide will transport you in a rugged, yet comfortable four-wheel-drive vehicle.
Once inside, you'll learn all about the history, culture, and geology of this mind-bendingly gorgeous sandstone grotto.

Located nearby, The Wave is even more elusive, with a lottery system being the only means of access.
If you do ever get the rare opportunity to visit, however, don't let it pass you by.

This 190-million-year-old rock formation dates to the Jurassic Age, and it's easy to picture ancient beasts stomping through its curves and undulations.
3. Rim-to-Rim (Grand Canyon National Park)

Last, but certainly not least, is one of the most difficult hikes in the nation.
Clocking in at just under 22 miles long, the Rim-to-Rim hike leads from North Kaibab to the Grand Canyon Village.

It should go without saying, but this isn't a trail for the faint of heart. With a decent pace, you could probably finish in about eight or nine hours - that's including a few rest stops and the obligatory midday beer at Phantom Ranch. As far as scenery, it transforms from dense forest to rugged desert and back as you descend ever deeper into the canyon.
