The 10 safest West Virginia cities, according to this website, are New Martinsville, Oak Hill, Weston, Weirton, Charles Town, Ranson, Morgantown, Moundsville, Nitro, and St. Albans, in that order.

As the number one safest city, New Martinsville in Wetzel County has a population of 5,114.
