According the financial services website SmartAsset, Portland is the top city for beer drinkers in America. But amazing breweries can be found all over the state!

Well, actually, the only time I've ever seen anyone love this stuff is right before closing time at a bar in Vinalhaven. But, regardless, the numbers don't lie. On a list of Maine's bestselling liquors, the big bottle of the "champagne of Maine" comes in first. Third, fourth and ninth on the list? Smaller bottles of Allen's.
