This adults-only swimming quarry has crystal clear water, plenty of space to spread out, and this year will have a few new features we think you’ll love if you want to spend your summer under the sun.

Once known as Falling Rock Park, but now shortened to FRP, this swimming quarry in LaGrange is a favorite summertime destination in Kentucky. Only adults 18 and up are allowed and they have a strict no alcohol rule, which gives it the atmosphere of a fun-filled summer camp for adults.

This former rock quarry offers 4 acres of beautiful water so you can float the day away. You'll bring your own float and spend the day in the water.

There are a few designated spots throughout the water where you can jump in, but everyone must have a float to get in the water. There are also ladders or easy beach access when you need to get out and dry off for a bit.

And when you do, you can relax and just take in the scenery. And for the most convenient visit, book one of the new VIP parking spots that can be found in an ideal spot near the water. That way you can have easy access to your car, as well as the other features of the property.

One of those features is a food truck where you can grab a bite to eat. There's also a small store that sells a few goodies and rents paddle boards if you'd like to give that a try.
