Ice Cream Bar offers up a variety of treats, but their alcoholic milkshakes are definitely the star of the show. If you have yet to treat yourself to a boozy milkshake, consider it a must. This old-fashioned soda fountain and creamery is a real blast from the past! Everything from the vintage atmosphere to the classic menu items will make you feel like you've stepped back in time to the late 1800s.
The Ice Cream Bar is a full-service ice cream shop that serves up treats galore. They specialize in artisanal soda fountain and ice cream drinks, all of which are made-to-order using house-made syrups, tonics, extracts, and tinctures. They just don't make 'em like this anymore!
The menu includes all of the classics, like root beer (made with real sassafras), ginger ale, cherry phosphate, and old-fashioned, hand-shaken milkshakes. However, one modern twist is the addition of boozy milkshakes - that's right, milkshakes that have been infused with beer and liqueurs!
There are a variety of alcoholic milkshakes and drinks to choose from, but one of the most popular is the Dublin Honey. This milkshake consists of a Guinness stout float with two scoops of caramelized honey ice cream. It is topped with house-made Valrhona dark chocolate syrup and Graham's 10 year tawny port.
Other options include Fortunato's Reviver (Bodegas Yuste Aurora Amontillado sherry, Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino, black walnuts, caramelized honey and vanilla ice cream) and Royal Red (Duchesse De Bourgogne Flemish Red Ale, Toro Albala Don PX 2010 sherry, Morello cherry ice cream, turbinado syrup.) Or, you can keep it simple with an ice cream flavor of your choice blended with Deschutes Black Butte Porter Beer.
