From the park's parking area, hikers can hop on the trail that leads straight down into the canyon. The trail consists of an access road at first. Once the road portion ends, you'll follow a singletrack trail that winds along the water and to Box Canyon Springs.

As you follow the trail, the views of Box Canyon Springs get better and better. It's definitely worth the steep descent into the canyon. On a hot day, nothing beats taking a dip in the crystal-clear water. Just keep in mind that it's almost shockingly cold!
