Poulsbo, our little Norway, is certainly an unlikely destination for such a place but that’s where you’ll find Bubba’s Country Cue, a beloved catering company that serves melt-in-your-mouth smoked meats that are absolutely divine. And since large group catering has been put on hold for a while, they’ve started serving family takeout meals that will blow your mind.

Bubba (a common nickname for the first male born in a family in the south) was born in Texas and raised in Tennessee.

He grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, riding horses and camping on river banks and lakeshores, catching fish in the early mornings.
Eventually, Bubba moved to Washington, bringing his love of BBQ with him.

Every region has its own influence. Bubba is obviously inspired the most by the BBQ in Tennessee.

But no matter which region you hail from, the BBQ is served in a similar way: the meat, coleslaw, and influences of jalapeno and cilantro.
