What’s better than a delicious meal at a great restaurant? A delicious meal on a rooftop or a deck with a view, of course. Montana may not have a ton of options for rooftop dining, but the spots they do have are stunning. Have a meal and a beverage or two at one of these places this spring or summer and enjoy the scenery.
This Whitefish restaurant and bar is part of Montana history—it was originally the Sprague Saloon in 1905. In 1967, it was renamed Casey’s. Aside from the main bar and lounge, you’ll find SkyBar, the only place for rooftop dining and drinking in the area.
PLONK has two locations, one in Bozeman and one in Missoula. Both have beautiful patios for enjoying a glass of wine and a cheese board, but Missoula’s location has a rooftop lounge with a fireplace to keep you cozy even in cold weather.

The Swan River Inn in downtown Bigfork has a full service restaurant onsite and a rooftop garden that overlooks Bigfork Bay and Flathead Lake.
