Sometimes, all you need is just a couple of hours in a new setting to recharge. When you need a moment to take a break from all the noise in your life, consider taking a trip to one of these scenic spots in Louisiana, where you’ll be met with some of the most beautiful scenery in the state.
1. Cheniere Lake Park

3. Woldenberg Park
If you’re in the Greater New Orleans Area, an hour or two spend at Woldenberg Park is just what you need to get away from all the noise. It’s a great spot to sit back and watch the ships come down the Mississippi River, and you’ll have wonderful views of the city, too.

Cypremort Point State Park is a fisherman’s paradise. Since it’s nestled up along the Vermilion Bay, visitors can launch their boat into the bay and head out into deeper Gulf waters, or just putt around the bay.
