Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
If you’re looking for something that’s a bit different from your standard sit-down restaurant fare, you might want to look into one particularly unique restaurant in Indiana! It’s a farm-turned-place-to-eat (among other things), and they take the term “farm to table” very seriously. After all, everything served at this fabulous restaurant comes straight from the farm’s own pastures!
Traders Point Creamery is a working farm that also serves up amazing farm-to-table meals - literally.
The restaurant is known as The Loft, and it's just one thing that this awesome, dynamic place specializes in. It is also a popular destination for parties and weddings, and we can see why!
The grounds are beautiful, and they definitely complement the high-quality, flavorful meals you can have here.
Everything served here is 100% organic, and comes from grass-fed cows who are treated very well. After all, they're family! Plus, healthy, happy cows produce the best milk, which in turn produces the best creams, cheeses, and so much more.

Traders Point produces farm-fresh, flawlessly delicious artisan dairy products as well as delectable entrées for your dining pleasure.
Hoosier executive chef Jon Warner is the mastermind behind all the delicious creations you could possibly want at The Loft. The menu is seasonal, and it often changes, so you'll definitely have to keep coming back.
You get delicious, fresh-as-can-be meals that came straight from Traders Point farm, every time. There's also a kids menu, and The Loft is kid-friendly for sure. The little ones will love seeing the animals on the farm!
You definitely need to finish up your meal at The Loft with a delectable, creamy, thick milkshake that tastes like something out of Heaven itself.
Traders Point Creamery firmly believes in eating ice cream all year round, so you can score some of this milkshake amazingness any time, even when there's snow on the ground! Trust us, you'll crave them constantly.
Fascinatingly, the barn in which The Loft is situated is a genuine barn built in 1860.
There are other barns on the property that serve other purposes, and at least one of them is also from the mid-late 1800s. There's really nothing quite like sitting down for a farm-fresh meal on the very farm the food came from in a barn that's been around for well over 150 years.
Despite the old age of the structures, they're beautiful, and so is the entire farm.
The farm also offers tours, and events can be held here, as well. These folks are excellent at beautifying this already-beautiful site for events like weddings and photoshoots. You can even rent part of the property for whatever purpose you need it for. You won't regret it! The Loft might just be the most unique restaurant in Indiana.
