Everyone In Iowa Is Talking About This Bizarre Road Sign Near St. Ansgar
Mitchell County officials decided to take a unique approach to catching drivers’ attention when it comes to deer. Just outside of St. Ansgar in northern Iowa, this sign went up:
A few residents found the sign to be tasteless and offense. Nearby resident, Sally Hertel, said it was a little insensitive.
However, Mitchell County Supervisor Stan Walk said that was not the intention at all. In fact, the idea was borrowed from a central Iowan county that used it first. It’s meant to prevent more deer-related automobile accidents, which have gone up recently. Time will tell if it’ll be effective.
What do you think? Offensive or funny?
