Got a case of the winter blues? Well, you’re in luck! We’ve found the perfect cure – and it’s a visit to Wisconsin’s summer-themed pop-up. Sure to transport you to the warm days of summer, the display boasts everything from a flock of flamingos and tropical décor to themed treats, plenty of photo ops, and lots more. Take a look:
Wisconsin may be in the throes of winter, but it looks a lot like summer at Hilldale in Madison.
The shopping center’s summery vibes are all thanks to "Hilldale Bringing Summer to You This Winter,” a pop-up display that’s open now through the month of February.
The perfect cure for the winter blues, the display is made up of all things summer. In addition to a flock of plastic flamingos, there’s tropical décor, beach toys, an outdoor bar, and photo-ops.
There are a few other perks that come along with the pop-up display, including can’t-miss specials, like flamingo-themed cupcakes, which will be available at Gigi’s Cupcakes every Tuesday.
There's another reason besides cupcakes to visit on Tuesdays. Hilda the Hilldale flamingo mascot will be flying in every Tuesday, from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., to pose for photos and pass out goodies.
The seasonally inspired pop-up isn’t the only way to have some warm-weather fun at Hilldale. Thanks to domes at Café Hollander, you can partake in another summertime favorite – outdoor dining.
