In the winter the trail is likely to still be covered in snow despite other hikers, but that's a big part of the fun! Just be sure to have the right footwear. Crampons are a good idea depending on just how cold and icy things are.

The Thompson Falls Trail can be accessed year-round, but you’re likely to find the least snow and ice between March and October.
