Many spectacular hiking trails are located throughout Alabama, offering a variety of landscapes and scenery. Of all the hiking trails in this great state, one stands out among the rest. This hiking trail is known as the Walls of Jericho.
The Walls of Jericho Trail is a 3.1 mile out and back trail that’s located near Estillfork, Alabama. It’s primarily used for hiking and camping, and it features a beautiful waterfall.
This natural area consists of 750 acres and is located within the 8,943-acre Bear Hollow Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Tennessee, which is adjacent to the Skyline Wildlife Management Area in Alabama. The southern boundary of this natural area follows the Alabama-Tennessee state line to where the actual “Walls of Jericho” is located.
