Make some fluttery new friends when you visit Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point. The 40,000-square-foot butterfly house is the largest in the Beehive State, and it’s the perfect place for a visit year-round.
For an insect experience unlike any other, visit Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point. This huge glass building is full of gorgeous plants, ponds, and of course...butterflies.
For a unique experience, sign up for a Butterfly Release, where you'll get to help a butterfly make its first flight into the biosphere. It's just $4 to participate, and you can sign up for this experience Monday through Friday. It's offered from 11-11:30, and again from 5-5:30.
The Explorers here at the Biosphere get out some of the most interesting bugs and beetles for you to meet. These exciting interactions are available four times per day: noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.
