Who says you have to spend the cold winter months holed up inside your home? While many of the activities we enjoy during spring and summer are off the table this season, that doesn’t mean that outdoor exploration is out of reach. One beautiful destination here in Michigan offers guests the chance to make lasting memories while appreciating the delights of winter- and you’ll want to see for yourself.
Brys Estate Vineyard and Winery is located at 3309 Blue Water Rd in Traverse City.
This family-operated gem is overflowing with historical charm, friendly service, and - you guessed it - lots of delicious wine. In every season, there’s plenty to appreciate at Brys Estate.
While many choose to visit the vineyard during warmer months, its delights don’t end when temperatures drop. In fact, wintertime offers a healthy dose of magic for those who visit.
In addition to on-site lodging and shopping options, guests can explore the vineyard’s marvelous Winter Trail. There’s no better way to stretch your legs and make memories.
The Winter Trail is actually two trails: a one-mile loop known as the Green Trail and a half-mile addition known as the Purple Trail. The area remains open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While there’s much to be said for simply strolling among vineyard views, enhance the experience by purchasing a souvenir mug of spiked hot cider from Brys Estate.
Settle in to sip your beverage around a cozy fire pit or purchase a delicious charcuterie box. When the weather outside is frightful, there’s really no lovelier place to unwind.
Whether you’re enjoying a glass of wine, warming up with spiked cider, or simply embarking on a quick walk along the Winter Trail, you’ll love spending time at Brys Estate this season.
