WHO ARE WE?

OnlyInYourState takes a fun, informal approach to helping readers discover things to do in each of the 50 states. We believe there’s an endless amount of incredible places and hidden gems throughout the U.S., and we strive to cover them all. We are read by more than 35,000,000 people per month and have over 9,000,000 Facebook fans across our network. If you want to write for us or contribute photography, this is the page for you.

WHY WRITE FOR US?

You have the voice. We have the readership and distribution. The majority of the articles you see on OnlyInYourState are written by paid local staff writers. However, we do periodically accept contributions. While we can’t currently offer monetary compensation for contributor articles at this time, contributors will get all the benefits of having their content read by thousands of OIYS readers. We also regularly hire contributors for paid staff positions who consistently show that they’re a great fit on OIYS.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

If you have a passion for photography, particularly taking photos of unique locations, we’d love to hear from you too. We regularly feature photographers across the U.S. and the exposure leads to thousands of new followers for them. Definitely reach out to us if you have photos you’d like to get out there!
