- This Is The Place Heritage Park, Salt Lake City, UT: A wonderful tradition in Salt Lake City is this fun event in Heritage Park. After a snowfall, it's a beautiful winter wonderland in a historic part of town that is just perfect for Christmas festivities. Tons of holiday lights, horse-drawn carriage rides, caroling, and fire barrels along lamp-lit paths. If you are on the nice list, Santa may make a visit too.
