Sooner magic is strong this year in Norman and not just because of football. The magic of Christmas can be found all around Downtown, in part, thanks to Netflix. As a way to give back and spread some holiday cheer this year, Norman picked a handful of cities to decorate with lights and Norman was one of the lucky chosen ones. The lights are now up and can be found along East Main Street, along with several cozy shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
Christmas might look different this year but it's still going to be shining bright in Norman due to the generous donation by Netflix. Photos of the lights haven't been released yet, so you'll have to use your imagination of just how beautiful this place looks lit up with thousands of lights.
The Netflix lights will shine bright in the 200 block of East Main Street in Downtown. This is an incredible display that will generate national attention, so don't miss the chance to see it this year.
East Main Street is always a charming place to meander around no matter what time of year. There are all sorts of shops to visit, and many of them are filled with holiday apparel, decorations, and novelty gifts.
And while you're in town, be sure to support local restaurants during this time of year. There is some amazing food tucked away in this corner of the state.
