Minnesota isn’t exactly known for its acres upon acres of vineyards. But the Land of 10,000 Lakes does have some stake in the world of wines. Our state is home to many beautiful wineries that produce equally beautiful Minnesota-made wines. We’ve covered some of them in the past, like North Folk Winery in Harris and Four Daughters Winery in Spring Valley. But there are plenty of others to add to the list.
Today, we want to introduce what might just be Minnesota’s best-kept secret winery. Way up in tiny Laporte, Minnesota, you’ll find Forestedge Winery. This beautiful, delicious winery is well worth visiting. Here’s what you need to know:
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, Forestedge Winery is doing bottle sales and curbside pickup only. They are typically open May through December, with patio service in warmer months. For more information about Forestedge Winery, including information about wines and how to visit, be sure to visit their website and Facebook page.
