Some of the most breathtaking views in the Tar Heel State are found along the rim of the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area. Gazing from any viewpoint along the top to deep within the gorge is a sight to behold. But traveling on foot to deep within the Linville Gorge is another experience altogether.
