In 1985, he purchased a property in the small Arkansas town of Crossett and that is when his dream started to come true. Since 1985, his Christmas Wonderland has grown and expanded from a small-scale event to include well over one-million lights over the next few decades.
This magical drive-through celebration of lights takes visitors down a road illuminated on both sides.

Cars will drive a quarter-mile down one side of the road before turning around at the end to drive back. This ensures that everyone gets a chance to see each side of the road and won't miss a thing.
To put up over a million lights and all the displays, it takes two people every day for six weeks to get it all ready.
