Southern California is brimming with incredible sites — and SkyRose Chapel is definitely one of them! Much more than a lovely place of worship, it’s a true architectural gem. But the chapel’s beauty doesn’t end with its interior. The grounds — and sweeping views they offer — are just as stunning as the chapel itself. Take a look:
Located in Whittier, Rose Hills Memorial Park features a cemetery, funeral home, crematory, and SkyRose Chapel.
The only thing rivaling the grounds’ impeccable beauty is SkyRose Chapel, which was dedicated in 1997 – after six years of research, design, and construction.
So, who’s responsible for this wonderful work of art? SkyRose Chapel was designed by E. Fay Jones, a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright, and his partner, Maurice Jennings.
