The majestic 35-room hotel is definitely proud of its historic character, even the paranormal side of it. The hotel has been featured on a variety of ghost hunting shows, including Travel Channel's "The Dead Files" and "Ghost Adventures."

Spend the night in this allegedly haunted hotel and you're bound to witness the past come to life - perhaps in more ways than one. The Glen Tavern Inn boasts all sorts of ghost stories, most of which originate from the third floor of the historic building.

During the Prohibition era, the hotel's third floor was a hot spot of ill-repute and was home to both a speakeasy and gambling parlor. Simply put, the hotel's definitely seen some rowdy stuff go down over the years.

One of the hotel's most well-known ghosts is known as Calvin. Paranormal enthusiasts believe Calvin was a cowboy who got caught cheating at cards. Unfortunately, he received a bullet to the head as punishment. Years later, a cowboy hat with a bullet hole was uncovered in a crawlspace, suggesting that Calvin's spirit never really left.

Another famous spirit at the hotel is known as Rose. Ghost hunters believe that Rose was "a lady of the night" who worked in the small brothel that used to be in the hotel. Guests can spend the night in both Calvin and Rose's rooms where paranormal activity is especially pronounced.
