Steel Creek on the Buffalo National River has repeatedly earned recognition as Arkansas' most beautiful campground. After you've pitched your tent you'll need to take on the Buffalo River Trail to see the Steel Creek overlook. It has a jaw-dropping view of the river, especially during fall.

War Eagle Mill is the only working gristmill in Arkansas. Come to Rogers to see the beautiful mill and bridge but be sure to stay for lunch. Paired with a bowl of beans, they utilize the mill to make the best cornbread in the state!

West of Crystal Hill, before you reach the Arkansas River, you'll come to a rather beautiful little spot: Rosenbaum Lake. The lake is an underrated fishing spot as well as a peaceful place to enjoy the surrounding fall colors.

The Old Mill at T.R. Pugh Memorial Park always looks like a scene from a fairy tale, especially during fall! The replica 1880s water-powered grist mill made an appearance in the opening scenes of Gone With The Wind in 1940.
