But when grocery shopping involves a two-story emporium with delicious locally grown and raised food, pre-made meals we can take home for dinner, and an entire upstairs cafe and lounge area, we will eagerly anticipate making that weekly list. If you’ve ever been to Bozeman’s Community Food Co-Op, you know it’s much more than an average grocery store.

The Community Food Co-Op has two locations in Bozeman, but the flagship location sits at 908 West Main.

The company has been in operation since 1979, which is pretty impressive.
A co-op is a cooperatively-owned grocery store, and because members come together to support the company, they're able to offer high-quality food at low prices.

The shelves here are fill with fresh, mostly organic and local foods that make your freshly cooked meals taste so much better.
Most first-time customers are surprised by the variety and the enormous selection of products here.

Typically, the co-op has a hot food bar, a salad bar, and a full service deli, but due to current conditions, they have temporarily switched to packaged entrees, soups, and salads that are equally as tasty.
If you haven't yet considered the co-op a place to go for lunch or dinner, you really should.

The team works hard to create the best recipes. If you come early in the day, check out Flying C Cafe Espresso & Juice Bar and have a morning green juice (or better yet, a latte).
Not only can you buy the ingredients for all your favorite recipes here, but the selection of ready-to-go meals is exceptional.

After taking your time grocery shopping, you might not be up for making a large meal. Popping a pizza in the oven is much easier.
The Community Food Co-Op is open daily from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
