Ever since it first opened in Corpus Christi seven decades ago, Whataburger has been the preferred fast food joint of many Texans. Its iconic striped roofs can be seen a mile away, beckoning drivers to come and indulge in the quintessential fare.

Innovation knows no bounds at the popular drive-thru, as evidenced by its newest idea: a roaming food truck. Unveiled last week, the orange-and-white restaurant on wheels is set to begin its multistate tour in 2021.

The 36-foot long mobile eatery is powered by a 30,000-watt generator. With a whopping eight yards of cooking space, "Texas-sized" is the only applicable description.
