1. Most Carolina Reaper chilis eaten in one minute.

On November 13, 2016, Gregory Foster ate 120 grams of the peppers at the Arizona Hot Sauce Expo in Tempe. The Carolina Reaper chili is a cross between the ghost pepper and habanero, and is the hottest officially confirmed chili pepper in the world.
2. Fastest time to eat a bowl of pasta.

Michelle Lesco finished a bowl of pasta in just under 27 seconds at Oregano's in Scottsdale on September 18, 2017.
3. Most Facebook likes for a cat.

The world-famous feline known as "Grumpy Cat," who hailed from Morristown, has over 8 million likes on Facebook. Her actual name was Tardar Sauce.
4. Largest amount of potatoes launched in three minutes.

Don't ask us who came up with the idea for this record (or why) -- all we know is that Cameron Ribail of Fountain Hills High School set it on May 7, 2014 with 13 potatoes.
5. Fastest calculation by a human.

On April 17, 2000, Scott Flansburg of Phoenix added the number 38 to itself 36 times in 15 seconds without using a calculator. The record was achieved in Wembley, England.
6. Most Caesar salads made in an hour.

9. Most consecutive backflips on a jet ski.

On October 12, 2014, Lee Stone successfully completed 36 backflips on a jet ski at the Crazy Horse Ground in Lake Havasu City.
11. Fastest 100-mile ultra-distance run.

At the Desert Solstice International Ultra-Distance Track Meet in Phoenix on December 10-11, 2016, Gina Slaby ran 100 miles in 13 hours, 45 minutes, and 49 seconds.
12. Farthest motorcycle journey in a single country.

Danell Lynn of Phoenix rode 48,600 miles on his motorcycle, passing through all of the lower 48 states. He set the record on September 19, 2014.
13. Longest-running greeting card chain.

From 1930-1987, the same Christmas card was exchanged each year -- that's 57 unbroken years! The record was set by Warren Nord and Thor Anderson in Mesa.
