There are a lot of ways to enjoy warmer weather in Maine. Of course there are all the hikes and outdoor adventures to be had, but those who aren’t excited about black flies and sweating don’t need to be left out! As long as you like to be entertained, eat good food and enjoy a refreshing drink there’s a spot just for you! Movie nights at this bowling alley restaurant and bar are not to be missed!
Head to the Bayside neighborhood of Portland to check out one of the most fun ways to spend a day...and an evening!
Throughout the year Bayside Bowl a great place to meet friends, celebrate occasions and just have a fun night out. But in the summer and early fall, this place is a rooftop blast.
The menu inside might be huge, but on the roof you can enjoy the Airstream Trailer taco truck. That and their summer movie series offer a unique entertainment opportunity here in Maine.
And if you plan your summer nights right, you'll be here for one of their rooftop movies. From June through early September classic faves like Dirty Dancing and newer flicks like Once Upon A Time In Hollywood play on the big screen under the stars.
Bayside Bowl is open every day from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. You can learn more about them and see a menu here. Movie nights are seasonal and you have until September to check them out. See the full schedule here. Everything on the rooftop is seasonal and you can check for weather-related changes on Facebook. You can reach them on 207-791-2695.
