Sometimes, visiting a park that isn’t exactly local to you—but isn’t out of state—can be just the change of scenery you need. Ohio is fortunate to have a large amount of state parks, nature preserves and even metro parks. Getting outdoors is fun and easy here in the Buckeye State. If you’ve yet to visit Side Cut Metropark in Maumee, you’re missing out on more than you likely think. Part of the Toledo Metroparks system, this particular park has plenty to see and do.
