It’s important to be prepared, even if the crisis seems a bit far-fetched. Hoosiers know a thing or two about survival, but in case you haven’t laid out a fool proof plan for escaping the horrors of an impending zombie apocalypse, we’ve got you covered:

While getting out of Indy might be your first thought (and still not a bad idea), Fort Wayne is considered the worst Indiana city for the zombie outbreak. So the best place to hide? NOT HERE.

Try to hightail it to the catacombs under the City Market and bring all the supplies you can (skip the crepes upstairs; they’re perishable!). Mid to southeastern Indiana has the highest number of towns with under 1,000 residents, making them perfect places to disappear. Where to hide once there? Clearing out a factory, bank, or water tower could be helpful.
If I have my pick between Grissom Air Reserve Base, Camp Atterbury, and NSWC Crane Division, I’m going with the air base, but any will have the means to keep you safe. Of course, these bases can hold large numbers of people, so you have to remain alert, just in case someone gets infected. If you’re on an air base, befriend a pilot. It could save your life.
