1. Peace Monument

This rare war memorial is the first in America that is dedicated to peace. Built between 1912 and 1913, it is constructed from Indiana limestone and located in northeast Indiana. The statue is a monument not only to peace but is also to soldiers who have served in a war, especially women.
2. Indiana World War Memorial Plaza

Dedicated to veterans of the First World War, this structure's design is based on one of the seven wonders of the world and was built around 1926. The words Courage, Peace, Victory, Liberty, Memory, and Patriotism are carved into it, and it is recognized for the bronze Pro Patria statue which is the largest cast in the United States.
3. Landmark For Peace

Built in 1994, this memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and former President John F. Kennedy recognizes the contributions of those who lost their lives in the struggles for human and civil rights. It depicts the two leaders reaching out to one another across a brick path. The sculptures are made from bronze and are the centerpiece of this park.

4. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Bridge

Indiana's second-largest city replaced its major bridge into downtown with this memorial to the great civil rights leader. It lights up at night and is a gorgeous sight over the river.
5. Four Freedoms Monument

Constructed in 1976, this structure represents the original 13 colonies as well as the four freedoms that are enjoyed in America: freedom of speech, freedom from oppression, freedom of religion, and freedom from fear.
6. Beneficence

Situated on Ball State University's campus, this statue is often referred to as Benny. It was constructed in 1937 to commemorate a charitable benefactor to the school and town. In total, the Ball Brothers donated $7 million.
7. Madonna Of The Trail

This is the ninth statue in a series of 12; it recognizes the strength and endurance of women in the pioneer days. It depicts a woman taking on the responsibility of motherhood at a time when she would have had the hardships of pioneer life to overcome as well.
