Glamping has become extremely popular in recent years, and Hope Floats, a floating *glampsite*, takes the concept to a whole new level.

Located near The Ridges Sanctuary and Washington Island, Hope Floats has a 2-person/400-pound maximum capacity, making it perfect for couples or those seeking some solitary fun.

Truly one-of-a-kind, the custom made boat is outfitted with everything needed for a comfy overnight stay, including a cozy sleeping area.

In addition to being fully enclosed and waterproof, the sleeping area features a queen size bed with a 3” memory foam mattress pad and netted canopy, practically guaranteeing a good night’s sleep.

When not in use, the bed can be easily raised with just the touch of a button. Raising the bed not only creates more space, but provides access to the built-in cooler and lower deck seating area.

The amenities don’t end there, though. There’s also an upper deck seating area – complete with a fire pit.

The on-board perks also include a bathroom enclosure and HOT shower. That’s right; guests can enjoy endless hot water.

Of course, you don’t have to spend all your time aboard Hope Floats since two 10’ kayaks are included with the rental.

Use the kayaks to leisurely paddle around or explore nearby sites, such as the Rock Island sand dunes and the historic boat house.
