With this pandemic going on, I think it’s safe to say we could all use a little pick-me-up. And we’ve got just the thing — a visit to Brent’s Drugs, where you’ll find some of the state’s sweetest milkshakes. The best part is that you can safely enjoy a shake from Brent’s since the retro restaurant is currently offering curbside pick-up. Take a look:
A Jackson institution, Brent’s Drugs opened in 1946 as a pharmacy and soda fountain. Though the pharmacy was eliminated about 10 years ago, the soda fountain has remained — and retained its vintage vibe.
In addition to typical flavors, there are also several signature creations, like the Ginger Finger (Butterfingers, ginger syrup, and vanilla ice cream) and the Bananatella (bananas, Nutella, and vanilla ice cream).
The shake selection doesn’t end there, though. There’s also a variety of “add-ins,” like candy bars, syrups, and hot fudge, so you customize an already-existing shake or create an entirely new one.
Regardless of whether you order one of Brent’s signature shakes or concoct your own, you’re bound to be impressed because Brent’s shakes are consistently referred to as the best.
