Those in the Heartland region – including Columbia, Kansas City, St. Louis, Independence, and Springfield – will have temperatures that are slightly warmer than normal, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.

Along with that warmer weather, you can also expect more rain than normal during the summer.
