A great hike doesn’t have to go on for miles and miles. Some of the state’s shortest hikes are also the sweetest – and that’s the case with the Fonferek’s Falls Loop Trail. The trail is less than a mile in length, but it’s jam-packed with amazing sights, including a waterfall and large rock formations. Take a look:
Fonferek’s Glen County Park is located in the small town of Ledgeview, which is near Green Bay.
Dubbed a geological gem, the 74-acre park boasts some incredible features. In addition to a cascading 30’ waterfall, there are limestone cliffs and a stone archway.
Remember, that, while Fonferek’s Glen Loop Trail is short, the terrain is a bit rugged and contains steep cliffs and falling rock, so exercise caution when visiting.
Fonferek’s Glen County Park is open daily during daylight hours. For more information, call (920) 448-4466. You can also visit the Brown County website.
