This week, try exploring the wildly underrated Wallace Falls State Park from the comfort of your couch.

Wallace Falls State Park is located in Snohomish County, on the west side of the Cascade Mountains.

Its entrance is located near the tiny town of Gold Bar.
The park spans 1,380 acres along the Wallace River, and it's lush, green and gorgeous.

And with over 12 miles of hiking trails, it's safe to say you'll never be bored here.
The waterfall has three tiers and 265 feet into a large amphitheater.

Then it regroups and drops 81 feet, then 25 feet.

Both the upper and lower falls can be seen on the virtual tour, as well as several hiking trails, the Valley Vista overlook, and even some camping cabins.

There are five cabins available for rent when the park is open as well as two private first-come first-served walk-in tent sites.
In the summertime, you might even see people swimming here.

It's frustrating to miss out on trips to our state parks right now, but thankfully, the break is temporary, and we'll soon be exploring them again.
