There’s nothing like walking into a small locally owned bookstore with character to chooses your next great read. And since it’s never been more important to support small businesses in Washington, today we’re giving a shout-out to a place with true character. Vault Brooks and Brew will soon return to the wonderful coffee shop, gathering place, and bookstore it has always been. But for now, you can order books and products online for in-store pickup or shipment.
Vault Books and Brew is located in the historic Castle Rock Bank Building, which dates back to 1912.
Several small businesses have made a home here since the building's bank days. But when Jennifer and Brian Engkraf took over the lease in 2016, they lovingly renovated it and restored it to its original glory.
Since its 2016 opening, Vault has become a beloved local meeting spot for residents of Cowlitz County.
From children's books to young adult reads and the latest and greatest novels, you'll find everything you've been wanting to read as well as some reads you didn't know you needed in your life.
Due to current circumstances, Vault Books and Brew can only sell their amazing books online.
But since it's so much more satisfying to purchase books from a community business like this than a large corporation, they're keeping their business afloat.
Vault Books and Brew also sells gifts for those who need to ship something to someone special or cheer themselves up.
Under ordinary circumstances, they're open daily for your coffee, shopping, and literary needs.
