East Nashville’s local favorite, Mitchell Delicatessen, is offering an answer to your social distancing prayers.
The famed Mitchell Delicatessen is an East Nashville classic and has made a name for itself as the city's famed neighborhood deli. The restaurant focuses on using only fresh ingredients, which results in a high-quality sandwich every single time.
The interior is wood-ensconced and homey. Great for both groups and couples, you can pull up a seat at one of the booths and nosh on chips and sweet tea and heaping sandwiches to your heart's content. Currently, the interior of the restaurant is closed due to social distancing mandates, but you can still pick up your favorite lunch to-go.

Your favorite sandwiches like the Asian Flank Steak and the classic Mitchell Club are on the menu, and the Roast Beef and Cheddar on a hoagie remains a top order.
There are no breakfast sandwiches available for the time being, as the hours at the deli currently run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and until 4 p.m. on Sunday nights.
There's still plenty to order without the breakfast additions, though! Snag a pasta salad bursting with fresh flavor, or round out your meal with a brownie. Olive & Sinclair chocolate bars are also available for purchase.
