11 Southern California Things We’ll Never Take For Granted Again

As we all have some time to reflect on what’s most important right now, it’s a great time to start thinking about all the spaces and places to visit in Southern California once summer arrives. There’s so much to love about this little slice of paradise! Here are 11 that come to mind. What else would you add to this list?

1. Strolling along a crowded SoCal pier and soaking up the waterfront view. That view is one to savor!

2. Disneyland! From cotton candy to thrilling rides and adventures, this little slice of fun in SoCal is known as the happiest place on earth for good reason.

3. And California Adventure. Even if it's packed with a crowd we are more than willing to wait.

4. A lazy day at the beach is definitely on the list. Splashing in the ocean, taking a leisurely stroll along the sand, and taking a snooze on a beach blanket. What bliss.

5. Heading to the park and getting some exercise with friends. There's something about the smell of green grass that makes the workout fly by.

6. Enjoying all the beauty that SoCal has to offer. Even when it's packed with strangers.

7. Gathering with friends for spontaneous get-togethers and taking silly pictures of something as simple as our feet decked out in flip-flops.

8. Outdoor Dining! Even though many Southern Californians are still supporting their local restaurants by ordering take out or purchasing gift certificates for future visits, it's simply not the same as grabbing a seat at a favorite eatery and enjoying a meal onsite. Especially when the meal is outside!

9. Taking a hike with friends and soaking up the natural scenery all around us.

10. Strolling through a farmers market and mingling with friends and neighbors as we pick out fresh produce grown from local farms.

11. Heading out to a local festival and spending the entire day surrounded by other Southern Californians. Now that's a perfect way to spend a day!
