All of us have our own reasons for loving life in New Hampshire, for many of our residents, one of the endless reasons is the fact that we have so many incredible outdoor adventures at our fingertips. If you’re ready to surround yourself with our state’s beautiful wilderness and experience an outing that you’ll always remember, then it’s time you see what views await you from this historic fire tower on Mount Kearsarge. Take a look!
Out in Carroll County where amazing views are in large supply, an amazing trail will lead you to the top of Mount Kearsarge.
Just outside of North Conway, the Mount Kearsarge North Trail is a hike that varies in difficulty depending on who you ask, but we'll be certain in saying this isn't a trail that you'd want to choose as your first hike due to how steep it can be at times.
Originally built back in 1909, the fire tower that you see before you today on the summit was built and replaced by the U.S. Forest Service back in 1951.
From up inside of the Kearsarge Fire Tower, you'll have completely panoramic views of the Presidential Range and other noteworthy landscapes like the Carter Notch.
Totally 6-miles in length from start to finish, if you're ready to enjoy an all-day hike here in the Granite State, then be sure to add the Mount Kearsarge North Trail onto your list of things to do this year!
