There’s a lot we like celebrating about New Hampshire. From the food to the landscape to all the things to do, when we leave the state we spend a lot of time talking about how great things are here. But what we really love is when other people figure it out. Especially when those other people are national magazines read by millions of people! People Magazine just named a local sandwich one of the best and we couldn’t agree more.

When it comes to sandwiches, there's nothing better than the ones that are jammed with delicious ingredients. That's what you'll find at Nashua Garden in Nashua.

The name might not make it obvious, but this place is a great sports bar filled with enough New England memorabilia to have you rethinking if you've paid proper respect to Tom Brady in your own home.

The beer list is blazing and the only complaint might be how hard it is to choose one.

And the mood here is cozy and calm. It's great on a cold winter day. Or, on the kind of summer day that has you *missing* those cold, cozy days of winter.

All of this is great, but what we're really here for are the sandwiches!

All of the sandwiches here come with names related to New England sports. Take the "Larry Legend" for instance.

But the winner of best-in-show here is the "Big Papi" named in honor of none other than the great David Ortiz.

Served hot and filled with turkey, pepperoni and Muenster cheese, one bite and you'll see why it was deemed the best.
