When James Cash Penney opened his very own “Golden Rule Store” in Kemmerer, Wyoming in 1902, he had no idea the impact he would make on the culture of the United States over the next century. At one point, JCPenney was the largest catalog retailer in the world, and this iconic department store has been a household name for decades.
