As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Step into a backwoods fishing lodge at Trapper’s Fishcamp & Grill in Oklahoma City, home of the best prime rib in the state. This unique dining establishment not only has a fun atmosphere but the food is incredibly delicious…especially the slow-roasted prime rib. Check it out below and be sure to scroll all the way down for a glimpse of one of their unique (and amazing) dessert offerings.
Trapper's Fishcamp & Grill has been an Oklahoma staple for over 25 years and is one of the best places to go in the state for seafood and prime rib.
Many patrons claim they have the best prime rib in the state and we tend to agree. You can also order it blackened and it comes served with their Creole brown butter sauce.
After being open for 25+ years, they have gained a 4.5 star rating with almost 2,000 reviews...which isn't an easy feat. The prime rib is slow roasted for hours until it's perfectly tender and delicious.
If Bourbon is your drink of choice, then you are in luck because they have a Bourbon Bar on-site that serves over 150 bourbons - the largest selection in Oklahoma. Come on out and experience this unique place...you can't go wrong with bourbon and prime rib!
Now, about that dessert I mentioned earlier...the Cracker Jack Caramel Sundae comes highly recommended, so don't leave without trying it. It's a mixture of salted caramel ice cream with chocolate and caramel sauce
topped with caramel corn and peanuts.
