If it’s been awhile since you’ve visited Spokane, it’s time to plan a trip to the Lilac City — especially if you’re a foodie. New restaurants seem to be popping up left and right, including Heritage Bar & Kitchen, a recent addition that’s dedicated to all things Spokane. Not only can you eat like a local here, but you’ll get a glimpse of local history as well.

Heritage Bar & Kitchen opened in June of 2018, and it was an instant hit.

The business was opened by two best friends who share a love of all things Spokane (as well as preparing tasty food and drinks).
This is the only Spokane-themed restaurant in the world (probably), and it's amazing.

Heritage is from Spokane, and for Spokane -- everything inside is inspired by the Lilac City and the surrounding area.
From the local art work (there's a King Kong-like mural of a Sasquatch climbing Riverfront Park's clock tower) to the cocktails named after local news anchors past and present, this place truly pays homage to the Lilac City.

And aside from all that, it's a fantastic place to hang out -- especially on trivia nights.

Heritage Bar & Kitchen is open daily at 11:30 a.m., and they're open until at least 9 p.m. at night (11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays).
